Radio, Television, Motion Pictures and Early Childhood Education

Her love of reading and her desire to put a stop to illiteracy
motivated her to write her first children's book. This same
desire has made her dedicated to various children's organizations
such as Smart Start, Head Start and National Reading Councils.

Kimberly
motivates children to brainstorm ideas and organize them
into fluent sentences and paragraphs. Using her clever teaching
style, she can help children use stronger adjectives, vivid
verbs and better transitions in their writing. She also
has techniques that will motivate reluctant readers to improve
their reading skills. Her storytelling ability and experience
as an author will incorporate character traits into the
presentation. She provides students with the opportunity
to actively participate in the writing and reading process.

workshop is designed to teach Kimberly P. Johnson's unique
methods of motivating children to read and write to educators
of all levels. Her infectious enthusiasm will spread beyond
the classroom by showing teachers how to get parents involved
in the fun too. The workshop is always grade appropriate
and is available for Grades 1-6. Educators should expect
to walk away enabled with new methods to enhance creative
writing and storytelling time with students. The methods
will assist in getting children excited about reading and
writing. Kimberly P. Johnson's educational activities can
be used immediately without too much preparation time! |

a creative and interactive experience. One that will show
parents techniques on how to motivate their children at
home in the areas of reading and writing. |
